There is Retrovisor for MacOS and it does okay. To me it looks like the phosphor (RGB boxes) are oriented the wrong way, left and right instead of up and down, but it looks okay with sprite games.

Tbf Magic players are constantly learning to play Magic. Every set has cards that change or complicate the rules. IMO, now that they are putting out like 16 sets a year, it definitely isn’t worth it.
So new games are good.

I mean it isn't a bad take. I never played an Atari, NES, SNES on a Sony BVM. I had a 13" TV with UHF/VHF knobs on it that was later upgraded to a cheap 19" Panasonic in the early 90's. The perfect image never existed in the wild.

I got steered away for MP4 because of all the reviews pointing to talking companions all the time. I just want to cook. Let me explore, find stuff and soak in the weird otherworldly nature. I figured I would be furious with it so didn't buy it.

I lost 13 pounds the last time I was on that. It was an explosive weight loss too! Lost it all in one weekend. Although the follow-up IV bags did put a little back in.

It may have something to do with running off battery power? I couldn't get my old VMUs to power up outside of the DC even with new batteries. Was still able to copy my protected saves with DE though. All of those saved games are backed up though! 👍

My verdict was it’s really neat but the hardware is a bit much for what it does. I like mine and all but the odds of me carrying it around for apps/mp3s/emulators on a 1” screen are pretty low. Great for save file management. Dream Explorer required to backup some saves though.

It's a bit worse than that. Since nothing can be trusted it is a war on truth in general. Not just art. Corrupt politician caught on video doing something heinous, "It's an AI fake."

Mandatory crunch should have an hourly rate at a minimum 1.5x rate. If you are paid for 40 hours a week on salary, divide by the number of weeks you are expected work, divide that by 40 to get an hourly rate, then get paid 150% of that for each hour over 40 you work in mandatory overtime.

Wow that looks just like the screen did when my Mom was yelling at me that sitting that close was going to ruin my vision back in 93. She was right.

You have to develop a skill, spend time perfecting it and developing a style. You are not capable of carbon copy printing someone else's work as a human. You are also not selling it at a loss destroying livelihoods as a human needing to pay rent/mortgage and eat.

I bought it on AppleTV and binged the whole series over two nights. It is excellent. I wish you could get someone to treat the Dark Tower setting with this kind of fidelity.

Metrics are interesting. Mine said 66 games and I had a wtf moment. Then I realized my kids were using my steam deck so every game they installed counted.
I played 16 games. Spent a long time on Reality Break. Dispatch was a great way to end the year.

As someone who has worked in a large organization, when someone at the top suggests something, middle management interprets it as "This will happen" before it is given to the workers.

If the guy who signs your paycheck says to use something, whether that thing is useful or not, you use it. So "forced" like at gun point is false, but "forced" as in continue to get paid is true.
