While Hannibal has been playing his games the whole time, Jack doesn't really seem to push at Hannibal's takes on Will until Will starts "acting out"

I think Will's connection to Jack is more familial, whether a father-son relationship or a more structured "leader of the pack" kind of thing, with Hannibal-Will being more seductive 🤔🤔 I don't think there was much push-pull over Will until Will's condition started seriously deteriorating

Not everyone is a hands-on mother 🤷🤷 Maybe she thought that it had more to do with her husband, and didn't recognize that it was specifically focused on Abigail? We never really saw how their family dynamic worked

Also I always think of her as Helen, for some reason 😅😅

Personally, I think she suspected, but it was one of those situations where you have the instinctive feeling that something is wrong, but also the firm belief that bringing it out into the open would only make it worse. So I don't think she knew, exactly, but that she felt something was off 🤔🤔

It definitely could have been a practice one! I also think that using an already-created killer’s pattern and motivation was likely an easy way to figure out how they wanted to approach Will’s abilities. They could write and visualize around it without needing to start from scratch 🤔🤔
