I don't like new years. I think it's something about the way it forces you to zoom out? Like I can find so much joy in individual moments, in small things, but my combo of bad brain means that when I look at the bigger picture it's either anxiety over the future or depression rewriting my memories

Hahahahahha I have no idea how I did it but I managed to modify this code enough to do what I need! (this only took like 2 solid days of desperate confusion)

Ok so I *can* actually still solder! My iron just isn't powerful enough to reliably do 18g, which is disappointing, but 30g will be fine. (I had been putting off practicing because it hasn't been working at first and I thought I'd completely lost a skill after neglecting it for a decade)

I'm only in ch9 but BIG RECOMMEND. Not only is there fucking fantastic world building, plot that gets revealed layer by non-linear layer, characters that rip your heart out as they struggle/grow/clash/manage to be trans in the weirdest yet most relatable of ways, but also it's hot and funny as fuck
