Regardless, I think people should try and look at profiles vs perceived reputation to understand why players like Arfsten are starting over Scally or Tolkin. For better or worse he’s the closest to Jedi in terms of what he can do going forward, which means others are getting reps w/ that playstyle.

In my opinion there’s even a big potential upside to calling up potentially overlooked MLS players that hadn’t broken into the Berhalter camps.

I’m sympathetic to asking why players like Sargent or Zendejas weren’t called in, but I really do not buy that Busio or Scally would have made a difference at all.

Tbh I think he could be good with a real striker in front of him. Awful choice to bring him in when this system desperately needs a real finisher to free up the rest of the attack. Not to mention there’s still a hole in midfield which has really been the quiet killer since last summer imo
