Flowers on the pineapple sage.
Tubular crimson flower spike on a scented salvia plant. The leaves are softly hairy and the background a muddle of pots, trays and staging.

Day 11. Ponies in the distance. Although we are nowhere near the main blast of Storm Éowyn it's dreadfully windy here, which is hard to show in a still photo.

Day 10 Late Christmas present. This rather gorgeous cushion was gifted to me by a dear artist friend, handmade from old sweaters and ispired by the painting of Howard Hodgkin.
A large decorative cushion in reds, purple and black. Made from woollen material appliqued with rectangular panels and oversewn with additional fibres to represent painted textures.

Day 8 Rising tide: the Severn at Newnham
Looking out over the River Severn at Newnham. The picture is take from the bank looking down river. There is a drainage channel cut into the foreground and some buildings and tree further along. It is grey and overcast but calm and quiet.

Day 6, only two days late! The rather fabulous brownie cake my grandson had for his sixth birthday party.

Day 5. A bit of farming emphemera. An old can found in a barn.
20 litre rusted can, originally dark ble with yellow writing. The words read KPL maxifarm universal tractor oil and the tin is decorated with a small tractor logo and faux tractor treads along one side.

Day 4. I've failed already since we're on Day 5. I didn't exactly forget yesterday but the fog was so thick it was impossible to take any pictures. Is my story. Here we have two cows who had no interest in having their pictures taken at all.
Two cows viewed from the rear. One is a Belted Galloway, black with broad white stripe around its middle, the other, I think, is a British Long horn but I've no confirmation of that. It has big pointy horns anyway.

Picked the pumpkins. The orange ones were an F1 variety chosen for the kids to carve but I won't bother again, half of them rotted on the vine in the last couple of weeks. #GardeningFeed 🌱
