I rendered out some loose outlines to follow using grease pencil lineart. i didn't actually model the beetle to scale because i'm lazy so i just scaled it down after i rendered it. "this is just more work in a different way," you might say. to which i reply, yes,

i've been thinking of pendant designs i could make to add to my chainmail recently, so ive been using blender to quickly make some maquettes! this one's loosely inspired by a figeater beetle. i don't have a 3D printer, so i'll be trying it out in clay soon

Is your Blender UI small and difficult to read? Here's a quick accessibility tip! You can improve visibility by navigating through Edit > Preferences > Interface >Changing the Resolution Scale! This makes Icons and Text much easier to see! you can also make it smaller, if that's your thing? #blender
