TBF, before AI we were seeing more layers of middlemen getting involved with the process- recruitment agencies /CV Coaches etc: originally for specialised appointments, but now for any job

Almost certainly - but a mobile phone in an aircraft is moving so fast it is outside the design limits for cell<->cell handover - much more likely to get dropped calls.
And has been pointed out already your phone battery will go flat quickly as you so far from the cell towers

WiFi is low power/short range. The cellular connection is higher power/can travel miles. A lot of avionics designs go back a long way, so weren’t designed/ tested to withstand mobile signals… they might, but no one was sure.
Also modern mobile networks use lower powers than the earliest generation

A) would its creators detect it?
B) would they tell us?
C) what protections could/would we give it?”
