Used to be the case if you saved up and bought an album, even if you didn't like it, you'd stick with it until you understood it and appreciated it.
Now you can just listen to an artists entity discography essentially for free. It's killed peoples ability to truly appreciated art.

A lot of social media is geared towards this, ascribing importance in the algorithm to content that triggers high arousal emotions (most often anger).

That's a actually a great and simple way to put it. I'll be baring that in mind as I attempt my first comic script this weekend. ✌️

For me, it's We3.
There are so many to choose from, but We3 is just brilliant. Working inna vomic shop, its also so easy to recommend to people, I'm glad it's recently had a reprint in hardcover.
