The convenience is unparalleled(especially if you lose something), the lack of disc rot is a very real problem that more folks should think about, and honestly it is also outright better for the environment. I save physical games either for special occasions(XENOBLADE), or at heavy discount.

Really, when it comes to pronouns, I let friends decide how to perceive me. “Aqua” works just as fine, because Aqua is Aqua, of course of course.

Most seem to go with “she/her”, either for convenience or because I likely come off as more femme than I think I do? Which is a compliment :3

It didn’t have the best execution, but I thought it was a pretty cool game, and ideally would’ve made for a decent pack-in alongside some demos had it been ready in time for the PS2 launch.

Volt was basically an older, beefier Zell(FF VIII), Sora was a kid Sion(The Bouncer), Lightning(XIII) was literally Cloud, etc.

It’s not a bad thing, but he was producing a LOT of games and designs in a short time, hence greater criticisms back then.

On the other hand, when he took Yoshitaka Amani’s designs and put his spin on them for PSP’s Dissidia, a lot of folks couldn’t believe how much he nailed them.

He’s had moments where he clearly wanted to reuse certain designs, but more than anything I think it was the belt and zipper obsession that ran rampant starting with Kingdom Hearts.

He desire to challenge modelers and CGI teams was part of why he did that, but it did get excessive.

So many…well, I wouldn’t necessarily call some of them GOOD, but games nonetheless that would’ve gotten a lot more word-of-mouth had Ubisoft and others kept the aesthetic!
