so my theory is that at that specific moment, Sauron got access to the galadriel hard drive for the briefest moment, and i also believe this might be the perfect time for celeborn to be in her thoughts? why you ask? because right after this battle she's reminiscing about him to theo 4/?

now onto the real point, sauron knows her mind 👀 but we don't know the EXTENT to which he knows, but i have reason to believe that he knows MORE than she would like, case in point: the moment in the woods, it's so important they flashback to it in the finale, it's a moment of real vulnerability 3/?

and ofc there is the BIGGEST galadriel reference it was literally a self-insert fanfic for this guy 😭 anyhow, I think it's safe to say there's a DEEEP galadriel influence on this illusion, maybe he even chose a blonde wig bc of her WHO KNOWS 2/?

the thing about annatar is he tries to recreate the 'glamour' of valinor and the light of the eldar, but his blood is literally black as pitch, there is no real light or warmth in him, it's beautifully reflected in his colour palette when the illusion is lifted – no golden light, just a dull grey
