I work with the homeless. A huge percentage of them are on parole. Mostly for very minor crimes. Parole contributes to then struggling to stay off the street.

The "right" thing is to take it back and admit the mistake. But I've known people that have been arrested for shop lifting when they've done that, so I don't recommend it.

I'm not exactly clear on what exactly you would have them do? We have 0 power in congress right now. 0. None. Our votes in the house and senate are nearly worthless right now. What is it they are supposed to be doing?
