Mute City is a course in the futuristic racing game series F-Zero. It's also the state of my discover feed where I'm constantly muting and then selecting "show less like this". It's tiring to mute so many accounts and add so many word filters on each visit. The algo doesn't get me at all.

Getting a Swashbuckler Joker in the very first shop for Balatro's The Omelette challenge gave me a great run!

This run was a specialty challenge called The Omelette which starts the player off with five special Joker cards that increase their sell value after each round however the typical money rewarded after each round is always zero; balancing when to sell the Eggs with your needs to win the game. At the top of the overlay it says "You win!" followed by best hand chip score of one hundred seventeen thousand for the best played hand. Most played hand was Two Pair. Cards Played is shown as two hundred thirty six. Cards discarded were one hundred twenty two. Cards purchased was sixty one. Times the shop was rerolled for new offerings was eleven. New discoveries was zero. The ante is nine as technically the nineth ante has already started. The round was twenty seven indicating no rounds between bosses were skipped. The player has three options available: new run, main menu and endless mode to continue the current run past its victory point. The seed is XXC1C5W7. Skippable game details follows: Balatro relies on playing cards in the form of Poker Hands which are then scored. As the game goes on there are many ways to modify the score earned per hand to greatly increase the score earned. Joker cards are one such, being permanent cards that sit on the table rather than being played with the rest of the deck. Winning a round requires reaching the score requirement for that round within a limited number of played card hands. Each round has a blind in the pattern of a small blind, a big blind and then a boss blind that has its own modifiers to impede the player in some form (such as Heart cards giving no score). After each boss the ante increases and as the overall ante goes up the score requirements for each set of three rounds goes up too. For instance the very first round is set at three hundred but the final round is usually a few hundred thousand.

One thing I had forgotten was just how bad the audio is on these old speakers, but I'm glad it's in working order again.

The original cable had worn down to the connecting metal in five years! Just in time for the 3DS to appear on the horizon 🤔

The inside compartment of the original Nintendo DS top screen mid-repair. The old, flat ribbon cable connector for the top screen has been partially removed while a new replacement has been connected in its place.
