I had to see this, so now you do, too, @bkharmony.bsky.social .

This is the most ironic thing that I have seen this morning. This is the footer message on an arts calendar website that is "AI-driven." Yep, the web-scraping clanker site says you can't scrape their site. Typical AI hypocrisy.

This little guy will not let me get back to coding until I pay him fealty with wet food. I'm sure he learned his "Derpy eyes" powers from all of my K-Pop Demon Hunter viewings.

Hoo boy. @wgbh.org out there hitting hard with the best slogan in Public Media history. Chef's kiss. That's the most Boston thing ever.

Ten years ago today, I brought this little hellion into my life. He has no clue how many times has saved it. Happy "gotcha" day, Killakee!

Soooo, $50 for a generic t-shirt. FIFA is out of their minds.

Yesterday, my Mom gave me a first edition Anthony Bourdain’s Les Halles cookbook that she found at an estate sale. She paid a whopping $8 for an edition I’ve been casually seeking for a few years. Very chuffed.

No gods, no masters, no pesky wrapper for that glizzy. Chaos reigns supreme.

IYKYK. Elated that @stmartinspress.bsky.social reached out to me to read & review this book that I’ve been waiting for since I finished the last page of Empire of the Damned. I’ve read all of his stuff, but this is the series that @misterkristoff.bsky.social made perfection.

These new premiums that we are getting at the station are getting a tad unhinged. #publicmedia #sesamestreet

For decades I have been a mismatched socks kind of guy. I just grab two out of the drawer in the morning on my way out of the house. Today I noticed that this one resembles a popular TV show. Can you guess what that show is?

Came across this scene on my morning walk today. The traumatized tabby came over and booped noses with the bobcat before retreating back and making that face. The bobcat scampered off after I passed.

My addled brain read this as "Disturbing Local Shows Has Never Been Easier." Thanks for the unintentional laugh, PBS SPI.

The Des Moines Menace are definitely my team to watch for the 2025 Open Cup. I’m not sure what Sacha promised all of those old MLS alum (look at all that ex-FCD talent!) other than one hell of a good time, but it’s going to be awesome.

1970's playgrounds were an exercise in survival. I'm sure almost all of you Gen-X or older folks have some horror stories about setups like this.

Saw this by the vegetable market this morning. It made me chuckle.

Apparently I have displeased the master of the house. I shall have to reflect on my wrongdoings.

Last night I whipped up a big ol' InstaPot of red beans & rice, and I'm inordinately happy to have the leftovers to graze on for the next couple of days.

That’s because you have an invasion of The Littles

This is the funniest thing I've seen today. I lost it at "from jazz," and almost hit the floor with "what's up it's trane."

Sunday, a friend's son made this masterpiece to bring to the pub: mostly because I often post wacky recipes on my social platforms. It was seriously delicious.

My supervisor is none too pleased with both my work setup, and my decision to not give him wet food this morning. Retribution will come shortly, and there will be blood.

On random happenstance, I came across an article on the Bombay breed of cats. Immediately I recognized the traits of my beloved companion Killakee. For the past ten years I thought he was just a random generic stray. Turns out he’s a fancy generic stray. He’s still a turd.

We are in the process of vacating our building (see my previous post). It's so nice of the folks here to put a dumpster right outside my office while I declutter.

This is what my mother considers a “stocking gift.” As a recovering candy fiend, I’m curious what her logic was.
