I did it! The last big project for this year: I started to upgrade my nano House reef. Almost all of the inhabitants have been mooved to the new red sea reefer170. I Hope that my Mangrove plant take it easy. You see the Tank now at an age of two weeks. It was a rather fast start up.

You can see clearly that the flat anemones regained their photosynthesis algae and therefore their color back :-) they obviously liked the treatment I have chosen, maybe too much, as they are spreading to fast 😂 and my nano reef tank is still to small.

The Tardis stranded in a bucket of seawater. I found this treasure as freshwater decor in the ZooStore. But will the colors be seawater resistent? Would love for being able to move the tardis into the new tank I plan for my house reef. To make sure it will stay in the bucket the next days.

The return of the colors shown in black white 🙈 image. They are still too faint for the iPhone to get a good picture. However you can see here that the anemone is integrating the symbiotic algae again 🥳

This is the current view of my nano reef tank. As the corals had been grown to the surface I was forced to cut a lot down for being able to do water changes again. My mangrove is developing very well. Only one Cauderini left, as the other unfortunately refused to take various offered food.

🐠 Im #Housereef ist der PO4 Wert für die Korallen ja einer der kritischeren Werte. Was ich gar nicht verstehe ist warum der Wassertest mit dieser Skala daherkommt. Im Meerwasserbereich sind gerade die untersten Werte kritisch. Welche Sets nutzt ihr? Habt ihr bessere?

My Cauderini has a parasite or something on his first back fin. He keeps near to the cleaning shrimp 🦐 but nothing seems to happen 🤔

Hi, ich züchte auch eine Mangrove im Aquarium. Und hatte auch parallel damit experimentiert, sie in einer Vase zu züchten. Bitte beachtet, dass die tropisch ist und Wassertemperaturen <21°C auf Dauer tödlich ist.

Hatte Glück und konnte sie mir sichern. Die große Frage ist, ob die Farben salzwassertauglich sind. Falls nicht, sie ist auch so äußerst dekorativ. Was machen deine Pläne ein Aquarium anzuschaffen 😎
