That said, people find it easier to get into than Mastodon (my preference) so again the network effects will be important.

@rubinacarlson.bsky.social Yes, there are quite a few here already. I’m personally a little concerned that jumping from X to here might be a frying pan and fire situation – BSky is still a centralised billionaire’s playground.

Been waiting so long for the invite, I’d forgotten I’d asked for it … not sure how this will work out; not convinced we should be the livestock of another billionaire, but I’ll give it a chance.
