Thomas Nagel famously asked what is it like to be a bat? But what would it be like to be a human 500 years ago? Or 5000 years ago? Is there any evidence that qualia may have changed/evolved as our technology and culture has changed?

The fact that more information makes markets more efficient is not surprising but these graphs showing the stabilization of prices after the introduction of mobile phones are really compelling.
