Fifa bid reviewers have given Saudi Arabia 2034 the "highest ever evaluation score" even though they don't even yet know when the World Cup will be played and the report references 40-degree summer heat (and cities suggested aren't yet built, let alone stadiums).

Feels like an extension of the FAI Cup final becoming an 'event' rather just a game between the two clubs involved. Brilliant way to start the season.

One of the greats!
The most stressed out I've ever been about Christmas was when I was 16 and I got my first ever job, working at M&S in Dundrum. As soon as I started I kept hearing these myths about the Christmas Eve Waste Sale, where all the food that wasn't sold on the 24th was marked down 90%.

Job done for Drogheda. Damien Duff will be most people's manager of the Year, but Kevin Doherty deserves a heap of credit for the work he's done there.
Drogheda United secure their Premier Division status with a win over Beat Wanderers. 🔒

A goal from James Bolger and a Frantz Pierrot double put Drogheda in total control, before Harry Groome scored a consolation from distance for Bray. 🎮
