This has been the case in the entire Gallagher era. Interesting that last year the Sens were far and away the leaders in more PP than anyone. Try and figure that one out/

Check the tape. Very late change on goal 2 and Arber just made it to front of net while Anderson was taking off the net. Thats why +- is uselssbstat

If you remember the first few games of World Jrs and Bedard was garbage. He took of when they put Roy on the wing. Tourny was never in doubt there. Thats what he does. He is not a crash and banger energy player

He’s not a 3-4 liner. Doesn’t have that skill. Has not been, nor should be put on 1-2 line here. Needs a trade to a young team needing top 6 and he will do fine.
November 24, 2025 at 11:20 PM
Well of course. AHL vs NHL. No McDavid or any of the top players who are heavier, more experienced and faster. I want to see what he can do up here and think he will do well but at what cost? He can go up and down. Struble and Arber cannot. We shall soon see what the plan is.

Long road trip. If they sit Arber over Struble I will take a flame thrower to this place.

He played well last game. However he is not in the right chair for success. He is not a 3-4 liner. He is not built for that. Bedard in Jr Championships was not doing well until Roy joined him on first line. That said, he will not get a shot at line 1-2 here/
November 22, 2025 at 2:58 PM
Exactly Brian. Been saying that for couple of years. You can’t bring a 1-2 line player up for 3-4 line duties. No chance to succeed.

I do not disagree. However you do not factor in opponent. Dobes began the season against 6 teams who didn't make playoffs last year. Much easier opponent for the team to clear out the front of the crease and keep play in O zone. I agree both are having tough times now.

Will be tough when Ottawa moves to Quebec City. But we have a very clueless city council. 134M to build 5500 seats but up to 100M to add another 2,000.

If this was 2-3 years from now you may do it. We are not yet completed the rebuild. Almost there but the torrid start lulled us into thinking this is the year. 60 games left still so management needs to figure it out without killing future. Fowler not ready for this furnace yet.
November 21, 2025 at 5:45 PM
I don't get the option to watch Laval. I am not sure what is going on. Florian is a 3rd line centre, then a 4th line centre, then a 1st line winger. Maybe find him a spot and keep him there so he can develop. Dobes should go down for a few games to ease the pressure. Kakko can come up for a few
November 21, 2025 at 2:20 PM
You do not bring Fowler to this fiasco. It is time to give Dobes some games in Laval to get him back to his level and see what Kakko can do up here for a game or two.

Not even trying to hide the bias. League is a joke.
November 21, 2025 at 12:22 AM
MOnty should be cut for giving up a goal against that bum Ovi
November 21, 2025 at 12:16 AM
They are ready for the NHL. No need for more seasoning down there
November 20, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Won't be a popular opinion but I would like to see Bolduc and Roy switch for 2-3 games only. He has never been a bottom 6 player and we saw what he did with Bedard in Jr tourny. If he can't succeed with Suzuki and Caufield its time to cut him lose.

There are 31 teams who fail each year. Making cup final and not winning is a failure. Goal is to raise the cup. Now the owner may deem it a success for the extra revenue but its a failure nonetheless
