Empress Lucky is the inspiration for this social media push. She was being threatened with euthanasia because her…uh, rotundity…was affecting her grooming habits. Lucky for Lucky, (and frankly for us!) our vet reached out for help. Lucky is INCREDIBLY sweet, safe in our space, and now on a diet.

Kitten #2 took four days to trap, and then managed to escape once inside our holding space. Suppose watching your mom and sibling get kidnapped could be a little intimidating! This little nugget is a priority for our next set of surgical appointments so they can get back to their family ASAP

A week ago Mama Franci and her two kittens were living in a construction site, dodging backhoes and pile drivers. Tonight they are safe and warm in a home. Kitten #2 was trapped a day too late to make our surgery cut off, but they will be reunited soon!
