Too shy to post, not a bot.
Frequently filled with rage at our government.

From Te Whanganui a Tara
My severely adhd/dysprasic/dyslexic niece has been told her
pathway for achieving NCEA L1 will, from next year, be no more. To the scrapheap for her. I am so enraged.

I wish I understood the reasoning behind this.

Can't emphasise enough the DRY ginger ale and lemonade. The drier the better.

as I go. 750mls is usually more than enough. Depends how sweet you want it. Add the ginger beer, chopped up fruit etc. Serve over ice. Depending on your audience, you can also add a dash or two of bitters.
This type of punch is good for all ages and palettes. Kids are happy, grown ups are happy.

Of ginger beer (bundaberg is good as it has a nice ginger heat, so is the Stoke one). Fruit: lots of fresh fruit..watermelon, strawberries, oranges etc. Nothing 'mushy' though

Basically, put your 1.5l bottles of lemonade and ginger ale in your punch bowl. Then add the fresh up. I tend to taste

OK so the key is dry ginger ale (not beer) and dry lemonade. I use Schweppes, but as they say....other brands are available. My fruit juice base is good old fresh up apple and orange....its not too sweet. If you go the mango, tropical varieties its too sticky IMHO. You also need a small bottle

My fruit punch is popular at parties.....not really a recipe, but happy to pass on my ingredient list if you like

Me too., I'm pondering scrawling a message on mind, affixing a label, and returning it to him. Postage free of course.

2009 ANZAC dawn service my elderly mother didn't move quick enough as DPS cleared a path for Key, so they barged her out of the way, if I hadn't been there to catch her I hate to think. She was dying of cancer at the time and, even though they can't have known, I've never forgiven them.

Our precious teenager has had the rug pulled on her. No funding next year for her (or anyone else). No support for NCEA, no WelTech, no career path. Off to the scrap heap with her. In between my tears comes red rage.
PS..has the article been pulled? It's not there anymore

Melbourne is lucky to be getting you.

This has been a fascinating story.
One aspect that I'm curious about is how long had the offices of Goldsmith/McKee had the emails alerting them to Lesā with no action being taken?

Can I add Nicola Young, that most toxic of councillors, being the chair of the Grants committee to the list of insults? And the roles given to Karl Tiefenbacher..

Looking forward to your regular updates. Like Sarah I am perplexed by the appointments made by Andrew Little. Ray Chung being rewarded is an insult to the women of Wellington. I also question why Cr Young, the most toxic of councillors,is now chair of the Grants committee. So far I am not impressed.

Greek surely........

A lot of his appointments are off. I'm on the board of a community centre which relies on a council grant to keep going. I don't know what to make of Cr Young being the chair of the grants sub committee. Or of the roles given to Karl Tiefenbacher.
Frankly, I'm a wee bit suspicious of Mr Little.

There's a certain Wellington high school I would beg no parent consider for their daughters. Sexual assault,grooming.....but nothing to be done if it happens outside school.

My grandfather died of TB, my aunt of Diphtheria aged 8, my mother's cousin of tetanus, I was a school with a kid who wore leg braces because of polio. Vaccines changed the world in only a generation. Pity you can't immunize against stupid.
