Not surprised Ellegarden topped my Spotify Wrapped this year, but given how much I listen to (my) music while working I'm genuinely surprised by The Wiggles sneaking in here, let alone at #2 lol. Family road trips and long drives must have put up massive numbers.

Picked up a Magic the Gathering Foundations Beginner Box, and have been very impressed so far. What is most satisfying to me is that the box has little slots to hold all of the jumpstart "decks", and they perfectly fit the cards when sleeved, what a nice touch.

Tekken community of Bluesky, the latest release of the TekkenOverlay mod shipped today, and if you have a high refresh rate monitor I highly recommend giving this a try!

Today at work we had a quarterly "Day of Learning", so I spent the afternoon learning to use some of our dev tools to scaffold a quick frontend project. It's still rough and has plenty of ways to be fleshed out with more features, but I ended up making a Spotify 5x5 generator.

Recently had my first new amp day in over 15 years, picked up this used EVH 5150 LBX head and it rips. Loud as heck too. That Swart Night Light Jr. is putting in some major work right now too, keeping the tones great even at conversation volumes. I can play even with a sleeping kid in the house!

Finished my PS5 Tekken 8 ranked experiment tonight, as my 1 month PS+ subscription ends tomorrow. Back to Steam as my main platform.
But not before taking Zafina to Tekken King.
It took 168 wins over the course of roughly 16 hours.

Finished my PS5 Tekken 8 ranked experiment tonight, as my 1 month PS+ subscription ends tomorrow. Back to Steam as my main platform.
But not before taking Zafina to Tekken King.
It took 168 wins over the course of roughly 16 hours.

Spent some time the last couple weeks trying ranked Tekken 8 on my PS5, using wifi, and playing on my TV. The input delay and lag was noticeable compared to my optimized PC setup; reacting to anything was nearly impossible. Somehow managed to surpass my regular rank.
I'm going back to PC.

It's been fun seeing the migration of FGC Twitter to Bluesky this week, I'll be keeping an eye out for any fellow Zafina mains out here. Hoping to see some cool tech!
