This book was INCREDIBLE. The best book I’ve ever read that was written by a man. Just from reading who he dedicated the book to, I knew this was going to be excellent. The last sentence left my mouth hanging open. Five stars

A giant frog man breaks into this lonely woman’s house and she immediately fucks him. Good for her! Quick read with a super dramatic ending that I’m still not sure how I feel about. I could tell a white woman wrote it by like chapter 2 though.

The main character hates women SO much & was definitely a closeted gay but I FLEW through this book because hearing his description of pre-WWII Romania was literally like reading about America today. The final riot he writes is a revolt an oil refinery.
