I'm not religious but it's literally in the Bible that kids aren't responsible for their parent's shortcomings. Why are we punishing these kids for actions of their parents?

It's just especially baffling to me. I left Christianity because the behavior doesn't match the text.

Add red dirt and horseflies. I drove all the way to caprock canyons with my Celestron and it was hot, cloudy, and I was bit by so many horseflies. And it took ages for me to clean all the red dirt out of my telescope!
