When we Christians are more known for our support of presidents than we are for our support of the poor, the immigrant, the marginalized, and the oppressed, that is when we know we are following someone other than Jesus and we have a lot of repenting to do.

Finally trying out Factor - got 10 different meals for delivery next Saturday (for lunch/dinner Mon-Fri or something like that). First order was a great deal at $67 for 10 meals… we’ll see if it’s tasty and worth keeping up full price (about $147 for 10 meals) but here’s what I ordered:

Got a list of names!! 11 concierge, housekeeping, maintenance people and 3 in the leasing office.
Is it appropriate to give all 14 a small cash tip or is that not okay for the office folks? This is my first time in an apartment since law school 17 years ago!

I want to get holiday gifts for the concierge/maintenance in my building but only know some names and a basket with a card to “staff” & unnamed gift cards inside feels tacky
