It’s 100% OK to call someone beautiful — even if you ARE a creep (which you’re not, but pretend Brian Kilmead said it). It is an objectively non-creepy thing to call someone beautiful, it’s a complimentary, non-lecherous adjective. And it’s perfectly acceptable to acknowledge beauty when you see it.

Kirk wasn’t a politician. It wasn’t as much of an assassination as the killing of a celebrity. Horrible, but making him into anyone who served his community in any way is a joke.

I do know that. What I’m saying is he’s not a statesman, he’s not in a government role in service to the people. He’s exactly who you said he is.

To be fair, the problematic rhetoric was coming from Charlie Kirk. Start there. He made someone angry.

My dad wasn’t the core audience, no. My point is this wasn’t an assassination, he was not a statesman, etc. Kirk wasn’t the AG, or someone everyone should know. It would be akin to my dad not knowing who Joe Rogan is, or calling something bad happening to Rachel Maddow a political assassination.

My Republican dad doesn’t even know who Charlie Kirk is. Hes not mainstream. He’s not in government. He’s a conservative entertainer, not a politician, and the right is constantly looking to start a war. I’m tired of negotiating with terrorists, especially when so many of them are Russian bots

Not to mention there was entire Democratic Party hit job just a few months ago that killed 2 people, one being an active state AG, her husband, and her dog, and it barely stayed in the news cycle.
