I’m from from NorCal, and have lived now in the Pacific Northwest for 6 years. I’ve also lived in Virginia, SoCal, and Germany.

Long raincoats seem to be fairly uncommon these days, and there’s not a lot to chose from.
The salesperson at Nordstrom here when I asked if they had any raincoats that look don’t like I’m ready for a hike, told me to look online for something. I found this Cole Haan raincoat on Amazon….

Long raincoats seem to be fairly uncommon these days, and there’s not a lot to chose from.
The salesperson at Nordstrom here when I asked if they had any raincoats that look don’t like I’m ready for a hike, told me to look online for something. I found this Cole Haan raincoat on Amazon….

When I find something I like, that fits well, and is affordable, I tend to buy multiple colors.
In this case, it’s the #jcrew seaboard 1/2 zip. On sale they average around $40.
The fabric is super soft, is got a somewhat preppy look, and I can layer a polo or underneath for the office.
