Thinking up ways that players can break your game is always fun. Tonight I'm adding functionality to hopefully solve any softlocks players can find themselves in - including missing key tools and items they should've collected earlier. Here's how they'll get forced an axe for example!

It's official! Dr. Tuto's Temporal Egg Adventure will be published to #Newgrounds on Saturday evening! The game will feature over 60 custom crafted levels, dozens of NPCs to meet, and a unique story to follow along with!

The game will feature NG integration with leaderboards and medals, too!

Mobile playability has been a focus for this game since the start. I'm happy to say after this weekend all UI, gameplay, and technical elements of the game feature a responsive and cross-platform friendly design! It's been quite a bit of CSS magic to get to where it's at!

Happy #Monday (oops it's past midnight here)!

Today was the day to finally add in audio 🔉! Today also included some stage fixes for spawnpoints (ignore that arrow in a rock here..)

This week's goal will be figuring out what UI looks like and making sure it's fit for desktop and mobile.

Happy #Friday! That pixel egg game is coming along nicely. First iteration of this branching dialog system is working finally! The game will check to see if you've done certain actions before, and if so, show you different dialog than before. Take double-clicking this building for example!

Not to spoil this project too much but I'm very happy with how entity spawning and idle-harvesting is working. This video was taken 2 days ago before things got prettier, but this could totally be something soothing to watch with some nice music in the background.

In an attempt to be unique and break my typical formula for incremental/mini adventure games, my next project will allow for upgrading three "categories" of skills tied to the player. Each has 2 passive buffs and ties into the core gameplay loop.

About halfway done with this applet for my Ticuto Companion app... It's been fun learning about mask-image and filtering it over other objects in CSS. It also sucks that html2canvas doesn't support this mask stuff too well as I was hoping to add a "save as image" button...

Finishing up an unofficial/fan-made dashboard for a web game. Been fun gathering info and building this thing out over the last three weeks! I could spend another 3 weeks optimizing the JS behind it... But nah.

Since taking an indefinite hiatus from the NG Trivial series, I've been diving deep into creating a one-page dynamic dashboard for a small game I've rediscovered last month. So far it's been a fun challenge using no external frameworks to build an HTML/JS/CSS/JSON page that feels great to use!
