This is not what happened for us. We had a 31 day cost free extension from the end of the pay period we were fired. That ended April 8, so no paperwork was ever completed. They also charged us for the "cost free" extension and dental/vision they've retroactively revoked.

Federal employees are very limited as far as what we can sue for, which is why you're not seeing much of it. We're stuck with avenues like MSPB, OSC, etc. It sucks. But we're not necessarily giving up and are speaking with lawyers.

We don't know but they have said our pay while on admin leave is a debt. So they likely believe they can keep the premiums since they're "letting" us not repay the debt.
