Spinner of yarns here to talk about WIP, books I'm loving, and probably wrestling, Sabres hockey, and Purdue sports.

My first published work releases next year (late spring/early summer). It's a collection of novelletes, short stories, essays, texts, and letterboxd reviews about death+grief. I cooked up a mood board for some of the stories. Can't wait (and anxious) to share it with you all!

Yup, it's a bummer. It's why I daydream frequently about the Illinois/Indiana Land Exchange.

But, alas, Purdue is a major work in progress. But I'm clinging to hope. My parents had season tix to the Purdue WB team in the late 90s, early 00s, and they're the team that cemented my love for basketball. Would just love to see them have a stout program again, and MAYBE, another natty? Maybe?

Maybe unpopular take. But I'm not going to be overly upset about a $100 tag on GTA 6. I get it. 10+ years development, 2 billion in cost, and studio with a track record that's unmatched in entertainment. People will sink 200 hours easily into this, and I think it's fair for devs to do this. For now.

Look, I'm terrified, TERRIFIED, of playing a Souls game bc of the difficulty. But damn it, I WANT to so bad bc I love a big boss. So, I'm compromising, and gonna try a Soulslike game for the first time. God help my wife and neighbors and forgive me for the profane things I may yell at my TV. LFG.

The shadow of Edey at Purdue is huge, generational. But I hope people also recognize that Braden is just as much a one-in-a-million talent as Big Maple. There's an strong argument for him on Purdue's Mt. Rushmore.
