The 2025 studies of the ILS also include "Just Transition" research on coconut exports and coastal tourism. They will also examine workers' views on labor standards and labor-management relations, to balance the employers' side that was examined in 2024.

ILS presents studies for 2024–2025: about mental health, AI, sugar industry, and green jobs. The updated National Green Jobs Human Resource Development Plan was also launched this July 2024.

According to the ILS, they have two primary services: the Labor and Employment Research Program, which develops policy papers, briefs, and technical reports, and Research Communication Services, which supports policy advocacy.
