Q: Is that the eye above or below the antenna?

A: It's both. The Red Milkweed Beetle has adapted in such a way that the antenna bisects its compound eye.

I think the same is true of any photography - I try to keep my bird photos "natural" but I'm really just matching the post-processing of my own brain.

What the color of an object would really look like out of a spaceship window would depend a bit on the choice of interior lighting on the ship.

I've got a dog like that, Abby is some sort of Beagle Rottweiler hybrid with German Pointer mixed in. One of the hungriest creatures that ever walked the Earth, but a good dog nonetheless.
