I feel like it was more. They mentioned 750 in the announcement before the walk but that might just be the number that signed up. Definitely had people who just wandered in off the street.

11 mil is the number I've seen thrown around. Given that the turnout in my little town was big, I could see 11 mil nationwide. This is just anecdotal.
