Got some fun new things from the local metaphysical shop today. The crystals and candles are for Apollo on my altar. The bracelet and oracle deck are for me to play around with. Not a bad haul!

College has me so busy lately, but I wanted to share my February bullet journal spreads. I'm not a fan of Valentine's Day (I think it's overrated), so I chose to go with dragonflies instead.

Might not look like dragonflies, but I like the way it turned out.

Been a couple of days since I posted. The beginning of the semester is always rough.
Today's cards are 6 of Swords, Collective, and Blessing of Litha.
The universe is definitely telling me to enjoy time with people I care about today.

This is today's #dailycarddraw and I am definitely getting called out. The Eight of Cups means let go while the Mirror card means stop trying to copy people you see. So live my authentic self. Add on top of those is the faery blessing of Anam-Cara, or a friend who will call me out on stuff.

I forgot to post yesterday's #dailycarddraw because it was the first day of classes for college for me and I was so focused on getting a headstart on homework.

A confusing #dailycarddraw to be sure. The 10 of Swords, which signifies loss and betrayal, but also Victorious, which signifies overcoming hardships. So I guess I'll overcome something today?

The Faeries are going to help me grow today, according to the Blessing of the Butterfly Queen.

Lord Apollo, whom I've been working with lately, really said to take creative endeavors and run with it today!

Meanwhile, the faeries are working hard to help me heal past issues.

Despite the news of the TikTok SCOTUS ruling, it seems that whatever seeds I sow today will be blessed and help me in the future. Given that college has started back up today, I hope so!

Thought I would give you all a small glimpse at my altar I set up. I plan to post my daily card draws on here, so you'll probably be seeing this more often.

Happy Solstice!

It is the longest night and shortest day of the year.

It is custom to decorate with pine trees/boughs and light candles to symbolically bring back the sun.

It is also the night where the Holly King falls to his brother and the Oak King begins his reign until the Summer Solstice.

Today is Day 1 of the 12 Days of Yule. NOT the same as the 12 Days of Christmas, mind you.

Today is Mother's Night. A Night that honors the divine feminine, the Goddess, the ancestors, and the maternal energies.

Light a candle, give thanks, and reflect on all that is nurturing and protective.

Moon Water Part 3:

So what can you use moon water for?

Drinking (though, if you intend to do this, make sure the water is drinking water. Tap water, bottle water, etc).

Cleaning: Add a little to mop water.

Spellwork: Use it for cleansing or to consectrate with.

Bathing: Add some to bath water!

Moon Water Part 2

Now, if you live in colder regions this time of year, ysing glass is not a good idea if you plan to leave your water outside.

A plastic container is a good idea, or setting it somewhere inside where the light will see it is an even better idea.

Moon Water Part 1: what is it?

Quite simply, water that's bathed in the light of the full moon.

How to make: take any container, fill it with water, and stick it somewhere where the moon can shine on it.*
