Armand sat like a statue, eyes trained on Louis for a long moment before he decided to speak again. “I’m concerned about your health,” he said. “Is that right?” Louis sighed. “You've been doing poorly,” he pushed on, voice smooth as it was sad. “I whisk myself away to experience what the world has to offer, and here you sit. I wonder if you wouldn't like to forget all that's happened to you. I imagine it would bring you some peace.” The words came carefully enough that Louis couldn't tell if they had been rehearsed or not. He wouldn’t put it past him. “Mm,” Louis said. There was a voice in his head saying /we keep the damage/, and her whispers filled up too much of his head with white noise to form a real answer. It was silent again for a few seconds, and Louis could feel Armand's eyes fixed on him, not caring to blink. “I could do it,” Armand said finally, voice quiet. “I could erase what he did. I could give you a clean slate.”

Happy WIP Wednesday I started a road trip today and am currently over 400 miles and counting from my home but the loumand and dreamdia grind never stops
“Speak of the devil,” she said, and then she and her eyes and fangs and little doll dress were gone, replaced by only a tangible sense of unease. “You're awake,” Armand spoke into the silence, almost surprised at the fact. Soft footsteps on creaky floorboards. They should do something about that if they were going to stay much longer. Louis hoped they didn't. “It's the middle of the night,” Louis said, and Armand hummed a little in a non-committal response. He was standing now past the threshold, door closed behind him but poised awkwardly, like he had just landed in his body and he wasn't sure what to do with it yet. Louis remembered being endeared by this look of his, someone's lifetime ago.

The duality of man (the two iwtv fics I'm trying to work on right now)
Armand had found the cause of frustration against Louis a lifetime ago in a house in New Orleans and instead of meeting it with shouting or violence or pointed remarks, he met it with a level of attention and tenderness that made Louis feel claustrophobic somewhere inside his chest. Louis would not feed. Louis would not go out to nightclubs or galleries or museums with Armand. Louis would not talk about anything but Claudia or his own soul, if he would talk at all. He did not have the energy for anything but sitting and sleeping and reading when he could make his eyes focus, and Armand would sit at Louis’ feet for hours, kissing his ankles, feeling the proof of betrayal under the thin skin, or Armand would come home from his night and kiss Louis' cheek and feed him precious blood from his veins and, like magic or something worse, Louis would forget about his hunger strike for a moment. It didn't feel like anything at all. “Sorry?” Daniel said stupidly, and the distractingly beautiful man broke into an almost pitying grin that looked so sweet on his face that Daniel had to stop himself from grinning stupidly back. "I asked if you had milk alternatives a minute ago,” he said, and his canine teeth were just a little crooked and pointed and Daniel wished he could feel them on the skin of his neck. Get a hold of yourself, man. “Uhh, yeah, we do,” Daniel said, even more like an idiot than the last time.

Lestat, portrayed by Sam Reid. He is wearing a partially open yellow robe revealing some sort of harness on his chest, and a few large scars. His eyes are very light. "A rock star is no more different than an actor on the 18th century stage — it's just the same thing in different periods," Reid says. "You could just look at Twisted Sister and question, 'What is going on there?' But that's not a reference! So no one panic. We're not doing that — just thinking about rock star clowns, they're a good example." The showrunner has brought up Fiona Apple a lot to Reid, in how an artist can convey "extreme human or personal experience" in their music. "Lestat definitely ... well, I wouldn't say he speaks in metaphor," Reid adds with a laugh. Interview With the Vampire season 3 has only just started filming, but Reid teases that fans will get a sneak peek of Lestat's musical sound "sooner rather than later."
