Absolutely grotesque. YouTube has made a feature where they train an AI on your voice, and according to the FAQ it's opt out, but if I go to opt out there's… no opt out, because I haven't been opted in yet. At some point they're just going to turn this on, at a different time for every account.
So there are signs that the very unethical autodubbing feature YouTube is rolling out will be opt-out instead of opt-in. Found these on their FAQ pages for it, so please keep an eye on your channels if they ever push the dubbing to be auto-enabled.

I think a lot about how society often rewards "winning" or being the best, and honestly I feel really odd about that when being at the top is often a reward in and of itself.
In academics, this is often in the form of scholarships or awards or honors societies, and these really put me off.
