What I find interesting and kind of hilarious by the end of Hammer’s Dracula series is that vampires seem to be able to be killed by pretty much anything and everything. Sprinkler system? Check. Landscaping? Check. At least in this one, when Dracula dies you think, “Damn, what bad luck!” 😆

Such an odd movie. A lot of people seem to dislike it, (Christopher Lee included) and sure, it’s very flawed, but I can’t help but enjoy it, maybe because, not despite, how ridiculous and nonsensical some of it comes across.

I am so confused about what Louis Gossett Jr.’s age is supposed to be in this. It doesn’t really matter—this movie rules. Shoutout to Ghostface Killah for sampling it on Wildflower. I’m still waiting for the Gremlins sequel: Glynn Turman’s Revenge.
