I would absolutely not be doing what I'm doing (janitor) because it sucks all my energy from me and is wrecking my body. I would actually sit down and focus on game design and writing again. I feel like a husk of the writer I used to be.

It's a terrifying place to be, or at least it is in hindsight (for me, at least). In the moment, I'm usually so numb and empty that it's hard to feel much of anything except misery.

Yeah, it's why I haven't played further than like an hour. I'm stuck on a... I guess it's a mini-boss? Some sort of unskippable fight. The dodge mechanics are impossible for me to grasp so I just keep getting two-shot by the thing, and after about 20 mins I just gave up. Haven't gone back since.

Had to look into it a bit since I haven't really been on bsky for a good while, and uh. Wow. Protesting censorship by censoring yourself is... a choice.
