The Almond PhD will investigate the diversity and ecology of natural enemies that feed on the two major pests facing the industry: Carob moth (Ectomyelois ceratoniae) and almond carpophilus beetle (Carpophilus truncatus), with the goal of developing biological control strategies for IPM.
