I am from south east London (lived there my whole life except 4 years at uni in Sheffield) and I am asked frequently if I am from Australia or New Zeland. None of my friends or family from the area have ever been asked this 🤯

But how is it possible to have difficulties in spoken language that do not transfer over to written language? Does NAPLIC have a position on this? (not trying to start beef genuinely interested!)

Does this mean #DLD is considered solely an oral language disorder? I always assumed it would be both modalities and therefore a dx of dyslexia isn't appropriate.
