Been seven years since I first read this, on the English language's *completely universal but totally invisible* adjective hierarchy, and I can honestly say I've thought about it most days since.

Dublin bus used to suck a bit but it was actually kind of reliable. now I regularly have bus drivers so unaware of their routes they fully skip my stop and yell at me for asking them to stop so I can get off the bus.
