Haha been there, I have a conference next week and I have to give a tutorial and a somewhat theoretical talk on, you know, reasoning and LLMs and that thing, and I haven't prepared anything yet.

I loved numerical analysis when I was an undergrad. So full of gotchas. I especially loved how changing the order in which you execute things, though theoretically equivalent, makes a lot of difference. Right after discrete math this class brought is back to Earth really hard.

My all-time favorite band is Iron Maiden, but the one I think would best fit the tone and theme for the kind of stuff I'm currently writing is Thirty Seconds to Mars.
