Physical disabilities that make being up & about difficult, cognitive disabilities that make following conversations in large group settings difficult. Those are the primary barriers.

Anytime I see someone insinuate a person is faking their disability or health problem, I'm reminded how terribly common for disabled/chronically ill folks to downplay symptoms. The very simple reason? We're used to this shit. It's everyday. We have alarm fatigue about our own bodies' distress calls.
