Overall I am not sure it's worth it and that's why the solidarity narrative by politicians like Polanski are so refreshing.

I have an internal translation routine that can take transphobia and translate it to an LGB or racial context.

My aim is always to inform and express how it feels to me in a way the other can understand but holy shit do I feel unclean at the crap that comes out my mouth when I do it.

I think covering the trans coverage in the newspapers is important if the newspapers themselves are important. It may have been true a few years ago, but it's not true now. So it's not worth destroying your mental health over a non-important task.

On a serious note, does it matter as much what the newspapers say nowadays? I'm noticing that more people I know are ignoring the mainstream media as propaganda, but then the Telegraph still forced the BBC over Trump coverage indicating they still have clout.
