I was too optimistic so now v1 is actually the fourth version. Probably should go to bed instead

It had a pump, and is impressive engineering for the middle of the wilderness.

For my fellow engineers, any guesses from where these pics are? One hint: it's Alaska / Canada.

Alaska was beautiful, but they should change their state bird to actually be a mosquito.

Finally managing to edit photos from our trip to Alaska. We went on a boat ride in Seward, exploring Resurrection Bay and the fjords.

Sometimes he snuggles and is a desk buddy. But usually he runs to my wife and keeps her company.

He loves playing monkey in the middle, but will seldom drop the ball, so we throw a different one to distract him from the first.

Oh, I have a niche one: Battlefield (now tankpit.com). This is a real time tick based browser game. You would choose a color of tank (purple, blue, orange, red), and map. You level up your tank by gaining xp. There’s no chat, so everybody coordinated through the forums.

I loved my old one so much, I splurged on a modded one with IPS screen, USB-C and improved battery.

I love this illustration by Iker Ayestaran, because it reminds me of cozy afternoons reading a book and snuggling with a cat 🐈‍⬛ 📕

The contrast between old and new hits differently, even the sand becomes a canvas here.

La Concha Bay showing off its perfect crescent on a dream Spanish summer day 🌊

Donostia/San Sebastian has an incredible vibe, and is filled with great art and artists - I found some of my favorite illustrations in galleries there.

Oh now that’s a cool set! And very fitting to your field of work! I have one architecture set of Paris that i got with my wife on our trip.

I have to admit that I’m not a huge Star Wars fan, I just love this kind of aesthetic, and have a hope that humanity manages to spread kindness and not hate.

Looks just like the alps, but is actually Easy Pass in the north cascades NP. It wasn’t easy but it was stunning - except for those pesky blackflies, those were close to torture…

Another thing that was incredible about the Azores was the stunning architecture, which just made it a pleasure to explore the urban areas.

Oh, and Horta on Faial is the main stopover for sailboats crossing the Atlantic. It’s tradition for the crew of each boat to draw a mural in the harbor. It’s on my bucket list to sail over, so I hope to draw one too!

As a distraction, I present one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to: The Azores. It’s a chain of volcanic islands smack dab in the middle of the Atlantic, and each one is prettier than the next. Flowers growing everywhere, hot springs that you can soak in, and delicious wine.
