I do agree that the Rance/Miracle dynamic is one of the funniest in the series though. Right up there with Rance/Bitch-Ex-Wife-Pastel

Kind of far fetched. Kichikuou contains every single imaginable idea the Rance team originally had together. Miracle would have shown up then if that was the case. Sill is what was wanted as a foil, but it was a strike of inspiration for her to be a slave.

The Dark Lords in Rance aren't inherently evil, nor are the monsters. Though they are made to make the protagonist race suffer, but going by the examples of Silky they are by no means completely immoral.

That would only apply to the Demon King themselves.

Rance is so popular among Japanese weebs that for several years a magazine with a contest to vote their favorite hentai character had Rance in the top spot until they explicitly banned male characters.

Touhou has an explicit reference to a gal monster sprite in Rance IV.
