Gooseworx said she initially created him to be unredeemable, so not surprising people pick up that vibe. Ofc, Uncle Iroh was originally supposed to betray Zuko, and Elsa was originally supposed to be more of an antagonist, so a lot can shift in development. I would understand this more pre-ep-7 tho
