I do not like the devil ending and disagree that it is hopeful. Sure, V may have hope to be alive. But that is not a hopeful ending imo.

The Tower is a hopeful one. Like Misty V can hope to rebuild and be " ... Mr. Nobody, die ripe, old and smelling slightly of urine".

Once Elong adds Grok to Tesla with FSD, we might actually get the Delamain quest in real life. Imagine this AI being in control of a car - that is literally Delamain.

The only saving grace is that Tesla FSD is perpetually "6 months away".

I see that you already answered about opening montage below.

Is the scanning at the entrance of Dogtown a hidden loading screen? Probably not based on your last post, but Dogtown is much more demanding on my setup, so I am not sure.

This needs to be a weekly/monthly post while we wait for the sequel - some Mythbusting of 2077 with behind the scenes info

If they don't even have an internal demo yet, how do they expect to release the game in 2027?

Is the price increasing to offset lower number of units sold? or is it selling worse due to increasing prices? Likely both.

As an Indian, I recall reading about automation of textile industry by British. They flooded the markets with machine produced clothes which destroyed livelihoods. Ultimately, the world prospered but the people affected were permanently left behind. So dismissing the fear of automation is not it.

If someone dislikes AI, the last 2 paragraphs sound worse than your article. Your article was a kinder way to put it.

Generative AI and ML are widely different though. Generative AI models need to train on IP they don't own.

Although, based on the transcript, it is clear that Larian does use Generative AI for ideation.

Didn't think I would enjoy this, but ended up watching the whole thing.

Definiton of 'agree to disagree' - "cease to argue about something because neither party will compromise or be persuaded."

So, all the top companies, all the top scientists in all the universities be it US, China or elsewhere are all wrong and wasting money, resources and their life working on AI? It is one thing to say that they are not economically viable, but to say that they don't work at all? Agree to disagree.

Any tool has limitations. If you use a tool incorrectly then it slows you down. I just gave you an example of how I use it and it works well enough for me that I find it useful.

It is worse than a junior because it is not an assistant or a person. Instead, ask it give you snippets which you can test and verify. "Packages used to save large datasets" - "Example usage" - that is how I am treating it as a search engine to help with coding which I can then verify.
October 20, 2025 at 4:54 PM
Its not advice tho - stop asking it for advice. If I ask it to write a code, then I can run the code and check. I then modify the code to my needs. Its basically an auto correct/auto fill. Just like you sometimes reject auto correct, you do the same with LLMs.

If I am a noob and can't tell when my search engine is wrong, then I read actual documentation. But more often than not, I need to do things I know enough about that I can tell when its wrong.
October 20, 2025 at 3:00 PM
It works well enough for me. If I am a complete noob or if its something critical then I check multiple sources anyways. If its not critical or if its something I am good at but tedious, then the are useful. It doesn't make me an expert in something I didn't know, but it does make life easy.

Use LLMs like a more powerful search engine and they become REALLY useful, just like how search engines made our lives easier by allowing us to search what WE WANT quickly. If you treat it as some digital god, then good luck. They are not good enough for that.

I LOVED Control (and, of course, 2077)

Knowing that you AND Pawel Sasko (+senior team from 2077) is working on Cyberpunk 2 makes me unbelievably hyped. Fingers tightly crossed!!

Talks about anti-christ. Calls his company "Palantir".

It will surely turn out fine ....

Do you think they are trying to close/sell Xbox division and focus entirely on AI? Now, both their hardware and subscription are pricing out customers who have cheaper alternative. Their execs can't be THIS dumb.

What is the end goal? Rich people don't just throw away $20 billion down the drain. There has to be more to this.
September 30, 2025 at 7:37 PM
Please include this as a quest in Cyberpunk:Orion!!

"Hey V, I got a gig for you to be a lead merc."
"How many mercs will I be leading?"
"...well..."
Cue **robots giving lap dance to another robot in the next room, 2077 style**
