Wishes of a healthy recovery, first and foremost. Also that is a gorgeous spec for an elegant Turbo generation, teal colors were just a wonderful pairing with '90s and early 2000s cars.

Were it not for the giant fartcannon, this could have passed as an official conversion it is *that* clean. Just an impeccable spec'd 4-door R32!

I would the feeds are toxic *if* curated by anyone other than the user themselves, or without the option for the user to further fine-tune said curating. But yes, trusting the platforms to do so is a food's errand to say the least, and our recent experiences are showing no social media app is safe.

(dives into nearest emergency raft, landing head-first with legs flailing about) 😆

Joking aside, here lies an extremely valuable lesson about not disregarding the ability to curate your feeds in any app, let alone concede them to the platform owners themselves.

And my attempt at using it just today only seems to be proving that point with the force of a thousand suns. Political "takes" consisting of a line or two of ambiguous commentary, borderline nudity, more political "takes, posts from the people I actually follow like yours... Good lord. 😬

The "show less posts like this" on the Discover feed has been getting quite the workout after going unused for so long...

(Though, in fairness, it is because the Following feed is the better option in every way, but semantics and such)

Dog dish hubcaps do not look too bad on the Hilux, I must say. Gives it the '70-'80s Chevrolet Suburban vibes without coming across as try-hard gaudy.

Quite, it was smart repurposing. Though that begs the question why French-based scale model companies like Solido never pulled the proverbial trigger on doing so themselves...
November 22, 2025 at 1:52 PM
That's... honestly incredible. I wouldn't have thought the Encore would even have enough of a cult following to warrant scale models of any kind. Bless Spark for not only doing that, but choosing one with racing pedigree!
November 21, 2025 at 2:28 PM
That is quite impressive indeed. Even in Portugal you seldom see any Felicias that *aren't* the fun-going Fun model! And with a pristine Mk.1 Twingo by its side, no less.

"As escadas rolantes para a praia não estão a trabalhar" 😉

(They *are* stuffed to the brim with stickers on the sides, though, which is quite something!)

Even sadder is that now, instead of the "haha this will end our need to rely on that pesky human touch thing" promise, they are trying to pass this as "but we actually had human input involved, it is not a replacement but an assist". All while still lying through their teeth!

No thoughts, head empty (save for when it is September 21st)

No, you should have one installed on the front of the bike. Worked for this guy, if nothing else;

And an even more effective way to avoid spend money on their games. If you care little about those who actually program and design the game, why should we care about paying such attitudes?

Liz is so frigged, rest in pork pies 😔

The beef industry angle still baffles me. So many industries are already responsible for major smog outputs, and the Americans are so extremely fond of beef (and red meats in general, so how has it become the sole villain in this story?

(also agree 120% with the gaping holes remark)

Woof, I dislike having to use terms such as "cope," but this is 100% un-distilled cope of the highest order. They firmly believe once the bubble pops, the hype dies and the rubble buries the good efforts, there will be positives. If the ecosystems are left broken, can they still change the world?
October 16, 2025 at 2:33 PM
And it could still climb that mountain range with only minimal effort... Probably.

Why are these "questions" being asked when even banks are now beginning to worry about AI investments not being repaid even by half, potentially leading to financial collapse instead?
October 3, 2025 at 2:20 PM
Oh, it gets worse; energy drink brand Hell had an AI co-created flavor, which I was unfortunate enough to (be forced to) try. And guess what? It was no different from dollar store Red Bull. Most of the "imagination" was wasted on plastering buzzwords all over the can and its design...

You see "LEGO," I see "tube chassis Baja racer only in need of a few sheet panels" 😜
September 6, 2025 at 2:59 PM
My main question (and worry) is the aftermath of them "getting what they deserve." Will people finally realize giving them money is just opening the door for more destruction of ecosystems? Or will they be allowed to find a new buzzword to leech off of with more scams and destruction?
