10. My first real job out of training was as an Assistant Professor in the Counseling Psychology program at New Mexico State University. I lived in Las Cruces for 6 years while on the tenure track there. I still miss the sight of the Organ Mountains!

Excited to share this paper from Dra. Sibella Salazar’s dissertation. Sibella, a former student at NMSU, interviewed eight Pueblo people w/ whom she protested against DAPL at Standing Rock. They explored resilience from an Indigenous lens. Check it out--it's Open Access!
