Main advantage (to me) would be that models you don't touch get cleaned up automatically, and sharing your config would also automatically resolve any missing models (as long as they're available, at least).

But I'll be worrying about that at a much later point in time LOL

Like, models on CivitAI disappear all the time, either because they get replaced with a new one or because the page gets expunged. Content safety settings may also interfere maybe (idk, but that shit seems cursed).

Initially I happened to catch some update that broke the config (I guess?), then it kept recompiling ML essentials on every launch and crashed out on me because my RAM ran out and now it's going CPU only for some cursed reason

Also I gotta check what is up with my substitutes because I've had to build various ML libraries from scratch like 2-3 times now and I don't really enjoy allotting 100% of my RAM to that repeatedly. I'm kinda trying to do stuff *other* than building packages here

Added bonus is gonna be that I am more or less free to actually get started on the "project-based" workflow I'm looking for, i.e. having workflows, outputs (and inputs, I guess) at the same level while sharing models and such globally

The downside is (especially with upside-down compositions) that it gets the gravity wrong so hair and such starts drooping in the wrong direction. I find that much easier to fix with inpainting than messed up anatomy though
